This is a kind reminder that the deadline to submit proposals for the conference Exploring Ancient Pharmacology: Drugs, Words, and Practices, to be held in Bologna on 24-26 November 2025, is approaching: June 15, 2025.
The main themes of the conference include:
- Texts on Pharmacology
- Words of Pharmacology
- Remedies, Economy, and Society
- Tools and Techniques
- Paleopathology and Contemporary Reconstructions
We welcome presentations (maximum 30 minutes) in Italian, English, French, Spanish, or German. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the selection process by June 30, 2025.
There is no registration fee, but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
