English tr. of Kalligas’ Commentary on Plotinus appears

To be more precise: the first volume of an English translation of the commentaries of Paul Kalligas on Plotinus’ Enneads has appeared, published by Princeton UP. Kalligas has been a respected voice in Plotinus Studies for years, but his Hellenophone commentaries remain relatively unknown to scholars that does not read modern Greek. No longer. This book, which addresses Enneads I-III (and Porphyry’s Life of Plotinus) promises to be a must-have for readers of Plotinus, offering insight both on the stubstance of his philosophy as well as his Greek text in our modern editions.
