A new book on Roman material culture for magic

The study of the material culture of magic is sort of the new frontier, as people have worked over the literary remains of antique magical traditions with a pretty fine-toothed comb at this point. A new book contributes to this trend in scholarship:

Adam Parker, Stuart McKie, Material approaches to Roman magic: occult objects and supernatural substances. TRAC Themes in Roman archaeology, 2. Oxford: Oxbow, 2018.
