We are pleased to announce the final programme for the workshop Oneirata : Workshop on Sleep, Dreams, and Divination in Aristotle and his Predecessors to be held at the Department of Classics and Ancient History of Durham University on the 22nd-23rd of May 2024. The workshop will be introduced by a welcome lecture generously given by Prof. James Allen (University of Toronto) on the 21st of May 2024. The aim of the workshop is to facilitate discussions on ancient theories of sleep, dreaming and divination, engaging different exegetical approaches . The interdisciplinary structure of the workshop is designed to bring together and encourage the dialogue between specialists in both classics studies and neurocognitive science.
