The website for a new research project on reason and revelation in the ancient world – straddling many institutions across three continents (École Pratique des Hautes Études, Les Belles Lettres, University of Sao Paulo, University Federal of Sao Paulo, Emory State University, New School for Social Research, and others), and featuring collaborative research from philosophers, historians, and scholars of religion and mysticism – has now been launched, here. The project’s director, Jean-Marc Narbonne (U. Laval), says that an English-language version of the site will be available soon.
The project will run for seven years; I expect a lot of interesting studies to come out of it. Staying tuned…
